Jennifer was Head of Dispute Resolution at the Housing Ombudsman and Deputy Chief Operating Officer at the Pensions Ombudsman. She makes sure Ctrl AI reflects how casework, complaints and information rights teams actually work.

Francesca is an employment solicitor who has also run her own business. She leads Ctrl AI’s work with law firm and in-house employment teams, and shapes the playbooks and review points the platform uses.

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
Anup leads strategy, fundraising and commercial direction. He has more than 15 years’ leadership across legal operations, transformation and managed services, including roles at Freshfields, EY, DWF and Aviva.
Nicky Pearson
Co-founder and Chief Product Officer
Nicky held senior legal operations roles at Freshfields and Liberty Global, where he ran a high-volume consumer complaints operation. He leads product at Ctrl AI and designed the platform around how casework teams actually operate.

Chris Billingham
Chief Operating Officer
Chris runs operations at Ctrl AI and the link between product, engineering and our clients. He spent six years leading product and product marketing at AI start-ups, after starting his career as a data scientist at BT.
Cristian Berceanu
Chief Technology Officer
Cristian leads the engineering team that builds and runs the platform. He has 15 years in software engineering, founded and sold a software company, and led the team that built a machine learning platform inside a leading UK law firm.
Veronika Kral
AI Evaluations Manager
Veronika leads AI evaluation at Ctrl AI. She built the platform that tests all aspects of our AI system before release and whenever a model or configuration changes. She has a data science and engineering background.
Michelle Harrison
Chief Marketing Officer
Michelle leads marketing at Ctrl AI, from positioning and campaigns to PR and events. She brings marketing leadership experience from scientific and technology software businesses.
Max Tressler
Sales Growth Partner
Max leads Ctrl AI’s sales pipeline and partnerships, working with ombudsman and ADR schemes, law firms and the case management providers we integrate with.
Emily Hopkins
Product Manager
Emily leads product and delivery for our ADR, ombudsman, employment and intellectual property clients, from configuring the platform to a scheme’s rules or a firm’s playbook through to onboarding and day-to-day support.
Marc Massey
Product Manager
Marc is a solicitor with 12 years’ experience in personal injury and clinical negligence. He leads product and delivery for our housing, clinical negligence, personal injury, construction and subject access request clients.
