Ctrl AI is a finalist for Tech Start-up of the Year, and the winners will be announced at Manchester Hall on 15 October.
Ctrl AI has been shortlisted for Tech Start-up of the Year at the Prolific North Tech Awards 2026, which recognise technology businesses in the North of England. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Manchester Hall on 15 October.
Ctrl AI was founded in 2024 and builds AI for casework in complaints, disputes and legal matters. The platform prepares and structures the evidence on each case and produces an assessment against the client’s own rules, and named professionals review that assessment and make the decisions.
The shortlisting follows several announcements this year. In June The Ombuds Group adopted Ctrl AI across all of its schemes. In September Jennifer Ryans, formerly Head of Dispute Resolution at the Housing Ombudsman, joined as Director of Strategic Partnerships for Housing and ADR.
