Ctrl AI sponsored Future Disputes UK, held at 1 Basinghall Avenue in London on 17 September 2026. The conference, on innovation and technology in dispute resolution, brought together more than 250 disputes professionals.
Anup Kollanethu, Ctrl AI’s co-founder and chief executive, gave the closing start-up spotlight at 17:10, titled “Workflows, Not Prompts: What Legal Ops Experts Know About AI”. The session applied to AI the legal operations model in which juniors and paralegals work within structured rules and senior people verify what they produce. Future Disputes UK said afterwards that Anup had covered structured workflows, clear handoffs and human verification as the means of keeping AI outputs and costs under control.
Anup has more than 15 years’ experience in transformation and legal operations, including as chief executive of DWF Managed Services and head of legal operations at EY.
He and Nicky Pearson, Ctrl AI’s co-founder and chief product officer, were on the Ctrl AI stand all day. Ctrl AI works across ADR, employment, housing, clinical negligence, personal injury and construction disputes.
